Jazzercise

It's not your momma's workout. OK, well it kind of is. Jazzercise has been around more than 50 years and is the original dance party workout. It takes something really special to be around this long and be better and stronger than ever. We’re still evolving and transforming people’s bodies and their lives. Jazzercise is a combination of aerobic exercise HIIT cardio, and dance fitness. It’s perfect for all levels and ages. One 55-minute session can burn up to 800 calories. The results? Long, lean muscles and an undeniable mood boost. No dance experience required, we'll show you what to do. We are proud to have 7 experienced certified instructors offering a variety of formats.



ZUMBA GOLD®

Zumba Gold takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their fitness journey. All of the Zumba elements stay the same. You can count on the same Zumba fitness party you would expect from any Zumba class. Offering several class options a week. Watch for “classics and oldies” specialty classes. Tuesday, Thursday morning 8am - Fridays 7:30am


CHAIR ONE FITNESS

This is a comprehensive chair exercise program designed for individuals who have complications standing during a fitness regimen. This program is approved for all ability levels and allows you to get moving so you can keep moving. It’s endorsed by Aerobic and Fitness Association of America, National Council for Therapeutic Recreation and National Council of Dementia Practitioners. This class is wheel chair friendly.

Bring a towel and your water bottle.  Wear Comfortable Clothes and get ready to Smile with Vanessa - Tuesdays, Thursdays at 1pm and Saturdays at 10:30am


Back 2 Basics Yoga

Back 2 Basics Yoga is a gentle, restorative, and meditative yoga practice and is designed for students without previous knowledge or practice of yoga.  It is suited for all levels and encourages even those needing to practice in a chair. We ask that you listen to YOUR OWN BODY and honor how it wants to move as we are all connected but have different physical needs. 

Back 2 Basics Yoga is slow and methodical so students can learn the basic elements of how to practice yoga with emphasis is on working with the breath and physical alignment. Each week will build on what we practiced the previous week, but you may start at any time. Newcomers are always welcome.

You might just be surprised at how great it feels to simply breathe deeply and stretch your body gently.  Our motto … MOTION IS LOTION! 

Join Deb and Diana as they team-teach this class. Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10.


Yin Yoga

This 90 minute class is a relaxing and rejuvenating yoga class for the mind, body and spirit.  Experience calm, sustained, supported stretches for the back, hips and legs. Yin specifically targets the joints and connective tissues in the hips, pelvis and lower spine to release and ease pain. Specific propping will be provided to support the muscles while we stretch the connective tissues and sink deep into our joints. No experience required.
